1962 Dodgers NL PLAYOFF GAME A -- FULL TICKET Giants Dodger Stadium Koufax Mays

Original 1962 Los Angeles Dodgers National League Playoff Game A ticket associated with the historic pennant-deciding series against the San Francisco Giants.

The Dodgers and Giants finished the 1962 regular season tied with identical 101–61 records, forcing a rare three-game playoff to determine the National League champion.

The series featured legendary Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Duke Snider, Willie Mays, Willie McCovey and Orlando Cepeda.

The playoff was especially significant because it occurred during the inaugural season of Dodger Stadium, which opened in April 1962.

The Giants ultimately won the series two games to one, advancing to the 1962 World Series against the New York Yankees.

A desirable vintage Dodgers collectible commemorating one of the most dramatic pennant races in National League history.
