1978 World Series Game 2 —Yankees vs. Dodgers — Ron Cey Home Run — TICKET STUB

A ticket from Game 2 of the 1978 World Series between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers, played October 11 at Dodger Stadium. Los Angeles won 4-3 to move ahead 2-0 in the series. Ron Cey supplied the game's only home run—a three-run homer in the sixth—and drove in all four Dodgers runs. Yankees Hall of Famers Reggie Jackson and Catfish Hunter appeared. The World Series setting, rivalry, and decisive Cey performance make this an appealing piece of baseball history.
