Original 1972 World Series NBC Sports press pass associated with Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The historic 1972 World Series featured the Oakland Athletics defeating the Cincinnati Reds in seven games to capture their first championship since relocating to Oakland.

Riverfront Stadium hosted Games 1, 2, 6 and 7, including the championship-deciding Game 7.

Game 2 on October 15, 1972, was especially significant because it featured Jackie Robinson's final public appearance. Robinson participated in a pregame ceremony honoring the 25th anniversary of his historic Major League Baseball debut. He passed away just nine days later.

The series featured Hall of Famers Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan, Tony Pérez, Catfish Hunter and Rollie Fingers, with Gene Tenace earning World Series MVP honors.

A distinctive vintage television broadcasting credential associated with one of baseball's most memorable World Series.
