1947 Los Angeles Dons vs. Baltimore Colts — AAFC — TICKET STUB

An original-era AAFC collectible from the inaugural season of the original Baltimore Colts. This ticket was issued for the Colts' scheduled October 19, 1947 matchup against the Los Angeles Dons at Baltimore Stadium, with a printed kickoff time of 2:15 p.m. The Dons overcame a 10–0 first-quarter deficit to win 38–10. John Kimbrough scored twice for Los Angeles, and Walt Heap returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown.

The original Colts belonged to the short-lived All-America Football Conference and were a different franchise from the Baltimore Colts established in 1953. The ticket features both team names, the league name, and a distinctive illustrated football design.
